Our Mission & Philosophy

Discover the values and commitment to excellence that define Jeon's Korean Martial Arts.

Athens, AL

Slow, Patient & Foundational

At Jeon's Korean Martial Arts, we believe in a slow, patient, and foundational approach to martial arts. True mastery is built step by step — and we take the time to make sure every student gets it right.

Our training builds discipline, focus, and genuine confidence. Students don't just learn kicks and forms — they develop the patience, respect, and perseverance that carry over into every area of their lives. We believe a true martial artist is defined by their character as much as their skill.

From our Kids Taekwondo program (ages 4-8) to our Teen and Adult Self Defense classes, every student at Jeon's Korean Martial Arts receives individual attention, expert instruction, and a training environment built on mutual respect and excellence.

Master Jeon

Black Belt

I'm Master Jeon, Head Instructor and Founder of Jeon's Korean Martial Arts. I have dedicated my life to the practice and teaching of Korean martial arts, believing that true mastery comes through patience, consistency, and a strong foundation.

My philosophy is simple: slow down, build the fundamentals right, and the rest will follow. In today's fast-paced world, the discipline of taking things step by step — in martial arts as in life — is one of the most valuable skills I can pass on to my students.

Every student who walks through our doors is welcomed into a community built on respect, perseverance, and mutual encouragement. Whether you're 4 years old taking your very first class, or an adult looking to build real self-defense skills, we meet you where you are and grow together.

I am proud to serve the Athens community and surrounding areas, and I look forward to helping each student reach their full potential — on the mat and beyond.
